There is no lineal champ at 140, the winner if Garcia-Lucas will determine one. The only reason some people consider Garcia the champ is because The Ring made a new rule that anyone failing a drug test would automatically dropped from the rankings. This was done to give Khan a fake Ring belt, but we all know how that backfired. They dropped Peterson right away but never dropped Chavez Jr. It was Complete scam job by the GBP owned Ring

In all honesty it should be called GBP magazine and the GBP belt. Or even better Schaefar magazine and the Schaefar belt. ODH has destroyed the Rings cred.

The last lineal champion was Pacquiao and it is vacated. Ring champ and lineal champ are 2 different things. Whoever win this fight should become the lineal champ.

There is no way for someone to win the 4 titles any more. WBC does not want their belt holders to hold any other belt.

There is no 140 Lineal champion atm.

Garcia has the RING belt, but as always, I have to remind people the RING is not equal to Lineal.

Matthysse v Garcia would be for the Lineal championship, as they are seen as the no.1 v the no.2 of the division.
