I'm told by TBear who has a friend who works at the Vegas Commission office tell him that the fight is scheduled for 9/7. He said that his friend is usually on target as far as fight dates go, barring injury or cancellations.

Boxrec also moved Matthysse-Garcia to 9/7 after previously having it listed on the Canelo PPV.
