If you say so. It just makes you sound like you're a child or something if you don't think Haye views it as a business. Ive followed Haye's career since the start. This is a guy who modelled and lived a "playboy" lifestyle, he even boxed at the Playboy mansion. He cares more about being a celebrity than a fighter.

He is the absolute epitome of someone who does this for the money alone yet his fans are laughing at Fury for actually having the honesty to admit it.

You run around and call people ******ed, but I sound like a child? Everyone is fighting for money, but if you think David Haye and others for that matter fought through the amateur set-ups and fought at small venues in front of a few hundred people all for money, then I say you don't know wtf you are on about. Every fighter reaches a stage where money is the main motivation. You're just pissed that Haye has made that much money AND won belts.

Every fighter who is popular as Haye is fights for money, after all this is buisness. Unfortunatelly we don't live in Utopia where every fighter is like Joe Frazier and fights anybody, anywhere.

This thread took an odd turn Haye knocks Fury's chinny uncoordinated ass out in 5 rounds or less.

Amateurs? Who mentioned the amateurs! You've lost it.

The point I made was that Haye fans should be the last one's to talk about viewing boxing as a business when that is what Haye is most famous for.

If Haye only cared about money why would he give Fury 50%, Fury doesn't deserve anywhere near that amount. Infact Haye will be making less because he now has to pay Charr compensation. Wouldn't he also fight more than once a year if it was all about money?

Haye has never said he doesn't care about belts etc, Fury sounds like he's ready to retire already, he knows he's getting KTFO.

Don't know what the split is but I'd assume it's because he needs Fury just as much as Fury needs him. Who else could he fight?

No one was buying tickets to see him fight Charr (and that wasn't going to be on PPV) so he pulled another Team Hayemaker imaginary injury and is now fighting a guy he said he'd never fight. The only reason is money.

He makes far more money fighting Fury and paying Charr compensation than he does fighting Charr.

Mayweather fights once a year and does ok. Least work for the most money - Haye is an absolute master of it. Even more so than Mayweather. You've got to hand it to him.

Not exactly true. He took 5 rounds (12 minutes+) of flush Haye shots.

If Fury decides to stay on the outside Haye won't gas and will look take Fury out in the mid-rounds. Haye has been in with fighters that are better at doing whatever tactics Fury decides to use, anything can happen in boxing but Fury's chance of winning is slim to none.
Haye hasn't been in with anyone for a while. It'll be a 15 month lay-off.

There are definitely aspects in Fury's favour. It'll be interesting to see the agreed ring size and appointed referee.
