sure they have a good stable and put on great fights but in terms of developing a fighter and making him a star..are they better than top rank?

NO. TR is better at building a ighter from the beginning. But GBP is better at "star making". Bob is still the better all around promoter and his matchmakers do a superb job of matching their stars properly.

But If I have star potential like Canelo, Broner, GGG, or Ward-I'd go with GBP when I could.

as are all of my posts. but when they include manny you get a little sour.

ODH learned from Bob, no question. But HBO just broadcasts the fights-the matchmakers make them and TR has 2 HOF matchmakers.

Bob also hurt HBO considerably by not making manny floyd or gamboa juan ma. He also has a limited stable from 140-154 and 168-175 which is where the biggest fights are right now.

But he still knows how to build a fighter and make quality opponents.

Pretty much. All promoters are virtually the same, the only way you can really compare them is by looking at their stable of fighters.

i like the way they put cards together better than any other promo company. they seem to overly HYPE their prospects more than Top Rank though.

Giggly little fanboy's seem to support their fighters promoter's as hard as they do their fighter....Its a new phenomenon brought about by the internet, so yeah, in that regard yes, they are completely overrated.

Wherever Floyd goes, floydiots go. HBO was the greatest network according to floydiots when Arum moved to Showtime. Floyd leaves and HBO is suddenly evil. They're sheep.
