Oh he had a game plan and those counter/counters were working early on in the fight but he started to get hit. The ghost was just too slow and was horrible at cutting off the ring. Once the frustration sat in the game plan went out the window. He showed flashes here and there but they were sporadic at best. He did all that he could do.....

Of course Guerrero had a game plan but he didn't have the tools or skill to implement it successfully. I think its easy to look at a guy thats lost and pick him apart but lets remember who Guerrero was up against that evening. What he had probably would have put him in the fight with most fighters but Floyd is special so the standard stuff falls short.

So I think Canelo's just trying to make himself feel better by making ridiculous statements like this.

I was disappointed in Robert's performance

I was hoping that he would deal with JR as he dealt with Berto

Robert let Jr off the hook, he DID NOT shut down JR's Exits

Berto wanted to fight , JR didn't he ran

If Guerrero had no plan, he wouldn't have been able to counter Floyd's right hand with the same shot a few times.

He made an adjustment and tried to roughouse Floyd after his countering strategy was neutralized.

Huh? Well I thought Canelo looked amazing .. His defense was top notch against trout .. He needs to step up the offense a little but he is a very good fighter .. He's only 22 smh
