Comments Thread For: De La Hoya: Peter Quillin Destroys any Middleweight at 160

Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya feels his boxer, undefeated WBO middleweight champion Peter "Kid Chocolate" Quillin (29-0, 21KOs) is the best fighter on the planet at 160-pounds. De La Hoya disputes any talk that WBA/IBO champion Gennady Golovkin (27-0, 24KOs) is the top dog at the weight.

De La Hoya believes Golovkin needs to prove his worth even further, by facing former champion Hassan N’Dam N’Jikam, who Quillin dropped six times to capture the title.

K2 Promotions, who promote Golovkin, are interested in matching their boxer against Quillin - but they want the fight to take place on HBO. Quillin fights exclusively on rival network Showtime. [Click Here To Read More]

Someone please inform this crossdressing loser that N'jikam backed out of four fights with Golovkin over a two year period and eventually dropped his interm belt when the WBA finally tried forcing him to unify. He ducked Gennady worse than Sturm did and that's saying alot.

If oscar believes that then make an offer to GGG

It would be a huge fight.....

Would like to see that fight..... I know alot of people will say that GGG would destroy him but im not sure, I think it would be a good fight..... Both chins will be tested...

golden boy is garbage. they wanted hopkins to fight stevenson on hbo so why don't they fight golovking on hbo? DUCKING!

quillins never headlined a card in his life and oscar is turning down a main event slot on hbo to protect this undercard bum.

And it's not like Quillin has other big money fights on Showtime either. Danny Jacobs up next.

How do you protect a ducker? One way: demand he face another ducker first, problem solved.

It's a real shame Quillin doesn't share the same confidence as his promoter.

That's probably why he won't fight any of them... because he'd win anyway.... so might as well fight other people
