Look they had a huge cash cow in lesner and when lesner was hurt and had a year layoff they didnt give him an easy fights once he returned...

Same thing with GSP when he came back.....

That would never happen in boxing...
Look Serg will comeback in 2014 after a long layoff and will take a tune-up,, if it was ufc he would be fighting GGG, or murray rematch....

And where is Lesner now? Matter of fact, how long was his MMA "career"?

But it would be sweet to have a boxing league like how mma has UFC..

eventually you would have legit champs fighting legit contenders, and none of the B.S. that us boxing fans have to deal with.....

Even if you dont like mma or ufc,,, They do make it so that every fight, especially title fights are against legit contenders who have earned their shot..
UFC is not perfect but matchmaking is way better than boxing.......

If we had this boxing league we would be seeing things like

Danny vs lucas for the championship
Lara would get his shot...
etc...

i dunno bro... if you ask me UFC has just as many one sided fights as boxing. Besides this past weekened and the odd exception... when the main events involve the top dogs in ufc they are usually one side boring affairs. I dunno if you can attribute that to lack of competition to compete with the best or with the fact that it isn't as good as people say. UFC there should be matches like GSP vs Silva, Silva vs. Jones etc. Regardless of weight difference because they could meet half way

I see your point, But the fact of the matter is usually one-sided main events is because they have truely dominant champs like GSP and Silva the past few years...
Its the same as in boxing with floyd at welter,, He beats all the welters in usually boring one-sided fights.. Just like Wlad.....
Nothing wrong with having dominant champs as long as they are taking on all comers...

As for no Jones-Silva-Gsp fights,,, Yes i would like to see them, but cant hate on it especially when there is a full 15 pounds between their divisions,, They dont have the in-between weight classes like boxing does now,, They are similar to old school boxing when they just had welter, middle, light heavy, etc....

Having GSP fight Silva would be like asking canelo to fight ward....
