It's too early to say until he turns pro. The Pro and amateur game are two different sports really not all can succeed at both for e.g Audley a very good amateur and everyone thgought he was going to go all the way but alas we all know what happened there. Anthony might be a better pro than amateur only time will answer that, so lets all get behind him and give him our support, we need theses kind of fighters in the game it seems some of the British fighters love to trash talk and talk the biggest load of rubbish because of media mediums such as skype etc. - where have British fighters learnt to talk alot of crap these days like Fury,Haye,Khan, Froch - this used to be an American thing, where are the fighters like Cooper,Calzaghe,Honeyghan,Eubank,Bruno,Lewis,Nelso n,Mcguigan gone who used to get on with there sport and let there performances do the talking.

Social media has made people talk more. I would blame the internet.

I'll support Joshua but feel his boxing skills need a lot of work. No idea how his chin and stamina will be but good luck to the kid.

He's an awesome athlete first and foremost, and he will have awesome power. His footwork is still not excellent, but he can work on that. He will be brought along carefully, but to me it's just awesome to have an English speaking heavyweight on the scene who can really capture the imagination of the public. He could even go to America and become a star. It's been a while.
I like how you left out Haye, Fury and Price. Haye and Fury are too mouthy to be crossover stars, and Price doesn't speak English.

Excited to how he progresses, it's amazing what he's done while boxing for such a short period of time. I can never quite get the thought out my head that however good he becomes, he will ultimately be beaten by a fighter who has boxed from a very young age. I must say though that he has been overhyped due to his gold medal which I'm really not sure he deserved. The fight with Cammarelle was very close but he got outclassed and easily beaten by the Cuban in the earlier rounds in my opinion.

nistor mihai had him pretty hurt, megomedrasul had him stunned as well in the World champs final. bear in mind they are monster punchers though. I think he'll turn out to be a poor mans LL, despite being so big Lennox had pretty good feet and he had more power as well. He may win a world title
