I just think it's one of those background things where they have the information but they're told to reel it back.

Like when Mayweather fought Ortiz, Ortiz was mouthing off that he got the deal to fight Mayweather.... then pulled it back saying he knew nothing.

You were already set with your ticket but the addition of the danny v lucas fight makes it that much better. I'm sure you will enjoy both fights.

There are probably more variables now that they're trying to have it on the mayweather undercard.... but I imagine money is the biggest thing.... and a possible deal to fight Mayweather next.... that's a huge left field thing though... I think it's mostly the money... maybe a rematch clause

True; I hope for a great undercard and this fight would make it that much better; for the Ghost fight I showed up in the middle of the Love vs Rosado fight. If this does get confirmed I will be like a child waiting on XMAS morning.

Can't see how they will make enough money to cover this card. Canelo-Floyd is not a bigger attraction than what Marquez-Floyd was. GBP will be in for a surprise. Mexicans will eat this up but given Floyd's latest showing against a non-puncher, knowledgeable fans know it will be a bore. No way they can pay 4 star attractions.

Are you serious this fight is way bigger than the Marquez fight; lets be serious Danny & Lucas are big amongst boxing fans but mainstream neither is a top attraction.

I'd split the interest in this fight from the public as follows:

Canelo (45%)
Matthysse (20%)
