why did they get rid of george foreman on hbo/

Lennox Lewis was the best I thought. I also like SRL back in the day when he was on HBO. I know the drug charges killed SRLs career with HBO but I dont know what happened to Lennox.

HBO didn't renew lennox' contract. they wanted to move in another direction. i didn't think he did a terrific job, though he did his best and meant well.



foreman never got along with lampley and merchant. i know for certain that both merchant and lampley wanted him out. he was also getting up there in age, and he doesn't need the money. the guy is out of this world rich, between his career, his comeback, and his endorsements during and just after his comeback (mineke, and of course the grill.)

He was the best & most unbias. He often disagreed with merchant. After the sanders & brewster losses he was the only one other then manny steward who said he could still be world champion...

Foreman wasn't overly biased like most commentators and he didn't follow Lampley and Merchants lead and agree with them like everyone else does even when Lampley and Merchant were completely wrong.
