Will Deontay Wilder also pay the price....

....when he steps up in class and fight someone who can fight?

Price is the defintion of a hypejob but will fans say the same thing about Wilder when he gets into the ring with a solid boxer?

Yes! Wilder is a hypejob and will get stopped once he fights a decent opponent.

      Hard to say.

You have to suspect it. Price fought better opposition than Wilder even pre-Thompson.

He hasn't been involved in a fight where anybody on earth thought his opponent might actually win. If he were to fight a top 10ish fighter within the year I would probably bet against him winning simply because we don't know yet and the odds on him getting 'chinned' would be tempting.

The guy has no defence (TBH, he hasn't needed one to date). He'll be exposed shortly.

              It remains to be seen.

We won't know until Wilder finally fights a good heavyweight.

There just isn't enough solid journeymen anymore. Today you got gavern, firtha , bakhtov & a few others worldwide. A guy like ross purrity was the perfect test for a prospect. Marginally skilled but tough as nails with a big punch. Trainers could count on their protege going 10 rounds & getting work while taking a few shots along the way. If he wasn't careful he might even have to get off the canvas. It seems the fighters "0" is what matters now. Firtha is the closet to that kind of journeyman without the big punch. Wilder beat beck, manswell & harrison. Liakhovich is a good move. Former champ with a suspect chin who is inactive for long stretches. Its better then another soft touch...
