I have always thought Canelo would win since the day he fight was on. I don't watch the MMA but it would not matter. No two fights or fighters are the same.
I knew there would be comparisons but no, it's not happening. Floyd maybe arrogant but he's not ******. I think what Silva did was one of the dumbest thing I've seen. YouTube should have fun with that for a few weeks.
No comparison between the two. I don't see it. Silva is a wanabe Ali with the chin and punch resistance of RJJ. Floyd doesn't showboat, never takes risks and always fights compact.
You can't really compare the 2, Silva never weight drained Wiedman. Canelo already has stamina problems, any chance of winning was taking away with the catch weight. That's how Floyd rolls, avoid risks at all costs.
But I'm a bit worried Canelo will be affected (weight-drained) by the catch weight.
Mayweather should have been a man for once and fought him at 154. But Floyd is no warrior.
How is two pounds going to weight drain Canelo?
I wrestled for more than a decade, so I'm very experienced on weight cutting.
If Canelo coming in at 152, weight drains him, then he's weight drained every time he fights at 154.
Maybe that is the case, and if so, Canelo is dumb for agreeing to fight at any weight below 160.
I suspect Canelo doesn't have to kill himself to make 154 and that is why he agreed to fight at 152.
Mayweather is not a big Welterweight, so I can understand why he wanted to meet this guy at 152. It's not to weight drain him. It's to make sure that he and Canelo are similar in weight on the day of weighins.
If Floyd demanded that Canelo come in at 147, then that would be a "weight drained" situation. But 152? Two pounds is nothing, unless Canelo is too big for 154.

If Canelo's only chance of winning was 2lbs then he never needed to sign the fight there's no rehydration clause so he can still blow up to whatever wants.
He probably would but Floyd's bird ass gave ninjas an excuses to use by asking for a CW in a UNIFCATION fight. Smh
SO what?
Its two pounds. Not 5, not 10, but 2.
Canelo is 23. That is nothing. Have any of you guys ever cut weight before for an athletic event? I'm guessing most of you haven't, because if you did then you'd know 2 pounds is not a big deal.
Bernard Hopkins was forced to meet Oscar DLH at a catchweight of 157, for his MW titles. Hopkins came in at 156 and still KO'd Hoya.
Why wasn't a 34 year old Hopkins suffering from weight drainage?
But yet a 23 year old Canelo is going to suffer from losing two pounds?
