Who Feels Sorry For Price, Lewis, and even Maloney?

Even though I'm not British, I found this all very sad. Lennox looked really upset after the fight - like he had failed Price (not that I believe that's the case). Apparently Maloney started crying in the interview (although I did not see this because I popped outside for a cigarette). Price said he was gutted after the first loss. I can't imagine how he feels now.

It was just a sad situation all-round.

I do feel slightly bad for Price, cause he seems like he's a cool guy. He never got the proper training.

I don't feel sorry one bit for Frank Maloney, Karma is a *****. I still remember Klitschko-Wach the post fight on ESPN. Where he said some really disrespectful things. Things that I couldn't believe they allowed on air.

Not really, they wanted the rematch and they got it. Should have had a fight or 2 before the rematch IMO.

I felt very sad...i had high hopes for Price before his first KO, although i still thought he could come back if he knocked Thompson out in spectacular fashion. When Maloney started crying it was very uncomfortable viewing..but hey..that's boxing...

            Sorry?

This is boxing. They have to be prepared to lose.

I hope his healths okay and that but I couldn't feel sorry for Maloney after he blasted Lennox like that.
No trainer could help Price especially in that timeframe.

Feel for Price as hes genuinely a nice guy and feel for Lennox who put his time into Price only for that poisonous midget to basically blame him. That is gratitude for you.

Hardly Lennox's fault that Price is a lumbering oaf with poor conditioning, sub-par skills and no chin.

Pretty much this. They didn't have to fight Thompson again immediately. TT is a top 10 heavyweight who has only lost to Klitschko. Price needed a lot of work and they didn't give him time.

It is absolute fact that GBP approached Thompson and Price's promoter about a TT-Deontay Wilder fight after the first KO win over Price. The promoter wanted a hefty six figures to release Thompson from the rematch clause and GBP passed -- leaving them no option but to exercise the rematch clause.

******. He wasn't ready for that step up the first time and he was no more ready this time.
