    Former champion Amir Khan (28-3, 19KOs) is pushing to have his fight with IBF welterweight titleholder Devon Alexander (25-1, 14KOs) land in Dubai. Khan, 26-years-old, will return on December 7th. Las Vegas has been mentioned as a potential location, but Khan prefers Dubai and directed Golden Boy Promotions to get things done for the Middle East.

    Shah Khan, father and manager of Amir, is 90% certain the fight will take place at a venue in the Middle East. The only issue that would have to be worked out is the time difference in televising the fight in the United States.

              Oh god..Khan is pushing,lol..Khan should be thanking god to even be consider an opponent for Alexander..Now he believes he's calling shots..The guy is completely lost..I'll willing to bet this fight does not sniff out of the country..

                  Big fights take time. Canelo vs Floyd, Lucas vs Matthysse, and other deals. We all think promoters jobs are easy. And we as fans get impatient because negotiations take so long. I got to tip my cap to Schaefer. His jobs no freakin picnic.

                      It maks zero sens to have it there other than giving Khan an unfair advantage.

                      There is no boxing market on the middle east and this won't create one. The only reason its being discussed is because rich arabs in the middle east love to flaunt wealth and they are willing to lose money to help Durka Durka Khan the glass face warrior.

                              Didn't Denver Cuello fight in Dubai recently? Wasn't he the one that had all the problems with getting paid and flight tickets? Devon better make sure they get that Dubai money and get it in advance.
