Anybody can get knocked out. Chavez Sr took punches from elite fighters in multiple divisions, Chavez Jr is fighting guys smaller than him.

so i dislike lucas because he didn't beat zab and because I thought he lost to devon then changed after rewatching.

thats the same sentiment natas had about Chavez Jr.in the post I responded to-people over reacting to what he did in the 12th round. i thought it was an over reaction to annoint Lucas after the dalls jr fight. the bromer perez example you cited is the same thing.

So you dislike him because you thought he lost? So you only like undefeated fighters? You thought he lost those fight because you wanted them with your anti-Lucas glasses on. For a guy who claims to know how to score fights it's interesting how you scored the fight for guys who clearly lost, especially the Devon fight, yet he got his ass kicked. Anyone who has the Devon for for Devon hates Lucas. Stevie wonder could have scored the fight and would abbe Lucas winning. Lucas' hype didn't start with Dallas. A small group of US said Lucas was the real deal and the best in the division before that fight.

AFAIK it's still the only top 10 MW he's beaten (officially). Pretty sure neither Rubio nor Lee were, for good reasons, and Manfredo was a joke. And wasn't so long ago, like 15 months before his last fight, the near shutout loss to Sergio.

Wow........ For once I'm going to have to agree with Chavez Jr. GGG's opposition has been good, but they've all played to his strengths. Plus he hasn't had an opportunity to display any defensive skills in any of his televised bouts. GGG hasn't fought any elusive fighters, power punchers, or stalking fighters. Chavez Jr is a stalker who typically shows up fight night as a cruiserweight. I think the combination of those two things along with his height would be trouble for GGG.

he lost to zab-just get over it and move on. I rewatched the devon fight and said I was wrong and you are still mad. ANti Lucas glasses-I mean really russian Lucas isn't that big a deal that anyone would purchase anti lucas glasses.

anyone who said that at that point is ****ing ******ed because he clearly couldn't beat a journeyman/gatekeeper at that stage of his career. he smply wasn't the best. Now after the petersen win I think those opinions are credible-even if I dont necessarily agree.

I guess I didn't notice because I was hyping him too. if you elevate matts after destroying petersen I'm with that. but to do so after dallas jr. (who was a replacement for hank lundy moving up-the same lundy that posters said was a cherry pick for broner moving up to fight him) was very premature IMO.
