Although had he fought K9 for his trinket, you could almost guarantee he would be matched up with Canelo had he won.
i see it as cotto is taking on the top dudes that no one wants to fight.
that is admirable in this day and age of the sport.
same with khan, and a few others.

Scares me in this fight since Cotto has had stamina issues too. Good point made by TRT boy his power isn't the same and speed isn't there either. It wouldn't even be outworking though, Molina would just clinch until Cotto tires and win a decision.
I really hope Cotto stops him though I would be so thrilled.
just like in the mosley/margarito fight. He must of clinched over 60 times in that fight.

Who has Molina fought that is on Cotto's level? I don't know. Lara was his toughest opponent thus far. I think that Molina's style will feed into Cotto's strengths and towards the final rounds we will see a stoppage for Cotto. I like Molina though, but if Miguel has anything left, it will be enough to win this matchup in impressive fashion.
I hope he does move down to 147, but judging from his past attitude, it's hard to believe that he will.

This fight has all the makings of a hug fest that will even make Cotto's chubby friend brutally jealous.
