Maxboxing was hyping this up as Phil vs Mexico, even making a list for they front page of the top ten fights between both countries and didnt even include Pacman/Barrera.

so what morales beat him the first time. yea pacman dominated but his size has nothing to do with it he is fast and strong great fighter where he is from and where his opponents are from shouldnt matter. what should matter is that he beat 2 great fighters not 2 great mexican fighters. saying it like he put it is saying that morales and mab werent the best in the world when they are and it also takes credit from pacman

a lot of people try to forget that fight. I'll never forget it cuz I picked Pacquiao to beat Barrera by a TKO in the 12th. It was in the 11th. A week earlier, I picked Tarver to beat Jones on points. He got insanely close when no one gave him a chance. It was at this time I started betting on boxing, and I haven't stopped yet.

Maxboxing is a slimey ass web site. They have clear biased to smaller weight(usually Mexican fighters). Especially Fischer who has a true disdain for black fighters. Really hates Mayweather. Problem has even met Mayweather.

PS: Pacquiao beat two men. I still think Castillo is the best from Mexico.

Not everything is country vs country. I don't think you can ever compare Pinoy boxing to Mexican boxers by simply looking at the longevity and all time greats Mexico has produced. If Pacquiao beating 2 modern fighters is enough to "bury" a country than it will be a sad day in Manilla when Pac turns 30 and BoomBoom is exposed.

But Mexico has a history of great fighters. Pacquiao just buried two of them who are probably in the top 5 greatest of Mexico ever. That's mind-blowing to me.
