Canelo is getting his ass whooped, and will probably be stopped. This fight has shades of Ali/Forman written allll over it.

I don't agree, but that is the reaction of most.
You don't agree on no credit, correct? Partial credit is due, of course. But do you really not agree on hypocritical CW king, and if not, why?

If you watch the Ortiz fight closely you can see that Ortiz's weight was beginning to trouble Floyd a bit hence he took him out right after the head but with that extra weight Ortiz was really walking right through a lot of Floyd's punches, Ortiz just became frustrated of Floyd elusiveness..
The question here is not whether Floyd is strong enough to keep a 170+ pound man off him for 12 rounds but whether the 170+ pound man can endure 12 rounds with Floyd. If Canelo doesn't get to Floyd in the early rounds, which will require him to work more than 30-45 seconds a round, there's little reason to believe he will be able to finish him in the later rounds. Heck, by the time Canelo knocked Trout down in the 7th, he was physically unable to follow up and close the show.

I have watched the Ortiz fight and I didn't see any signs that the weight was bothering Floyd. But in any case, Ortiz really isn't a good comp for Canelo. Stamina has never been a problem for Ortiz (from what I understand he has competed in triathlons) and he proved his endurance in the Berto fight. Also, even though Ortiz outweighed Floyd by 14-15 pounds on fight night, he does not have the same body composition as Canelo. The "extra" weight Ortiz carried into the ring was less problematic for Ortiz and his conditioning than the 20+ pounds of extra weight Canelo carries into the ring.

A winded 170 pound fighter is little more than a heavy bag for Floyd in the later rounds.

Nah they have already broken the live gate record and there press tour had a crazy turn-out most people would love that type of backfire fight sold-out within a day; nobody cares really about the catchweight besides keyboard warriors on boxing sites let's be realistic.

If the catchweight was so good for Canelo, he should have taken the 150 offer...

Haven't you personally attacked other fighters over CWs? How many such posts you think you've made, with this account?

If none, don't take it personal, many Floyd fans have made tens of thousands of such posts for years, so don't let it start bothering you now.

I personally think Canelo is has been slowly acclimating his body to the lower weight before he starts heavy training. It is evident by his appearance at the promotional tours he's not letting his weight get out of hand.

Come fight night, I think he'll have comfortably added the pounds with the help of his conditioning team.

I'm expecting a ripped and ready Canelo during the weigh-in.

Don't know what he'll bring concerning speed, but I'm pretty sure he's going to make a good effort at dethroning Floyd.

I don't like the CW personally but I got over it cause it was the fight I wanted see plus I think it will be moved to the 154 limit(my own conspiracy)
