I doubt Canelo brought him in to spar. Tito went through a training camp with Floyd. He didn't just spar the man. He saw Floyd spar other talented fighters up close too... saw what worked against mayweather, and what didn't. Hiring Tito was a pretty smart move in my opinion. He can always hire other guys to actually fight like Floyd. Tito is probably just there for the information.

As for the reason for leaking the name, think about how paranoid Floyd is of people video taping him sparring. I'm sure that given the option, Floyd wouldn't want an ex-sparring partner telling Canelo everything about his training.

If Canelo's team is bringing a former Floyd sparring partner in believing that he can provide meaningful information that will actually help Canelo when he enters the ring on September 14, Canelo is in even worse shape than anyone could have imagined.

He need someone like Brad Solomon to spar against another one would be Miguel Vazquez a guy he fought before and struggled with especially in their first fight. But still neither is as clever or as skilled as Mayweather...NOT EVEN and this is where fighters run into trouble when it comes to preparing for Mayweather, it is tough to find Sparring Partners to prepare for that style

Mayweather already have fighter in his Camp to spar and prepare for Canelo against, J'Leon Love has the size that will be good for Mayweather to prepare against, also Daquan Arnett a guy who has worked with Canelo before
