Al Bernstein: "Lennox Lewis Is The Greatest Heavyweight Of All Time"

Al Bernstein talking about Lennox Lewis: "In my estimation the best heavyweight champion of all time in terms of an unbeatable one - when he's in shape and his prime".

    @ around 2:30

Edit: David Haye @ 2:00 talking about Lewis : "One of the greatest, if not THE greatest heavyweight of all time."

It seems Lennox Lewis is in shape or in his prime when he's winning.

When he get's knocked out it's because he's not in his prime or not in shape.

Perhaps it's because his chin isn't great and obviously isn't unbeatable as he's been knocked out twice by fringe contenders.

      I agree.

Lennox Lewis shows up at his best, nobody is beating him.

Unbeatable is ******... as one punch especially @ HW changes everything..

The thing is a lewis who is fit and motivated is less likely to get hit by it and more likely to take the guy out first.. just look at the two Rahman fights..

Bernstein is usually very sharp and has solid boxing knowledge, must have had a bad day because twice he said Thompson lost to Vitali.

Unbeatable "when he's in shape". If he doesn't have the dedication to be in shape for every fight then he's not unbeatable.

lennox in his prime would have a very good chance of beating any HW that ever lived but I can't put him above prime Ali. Prime Ali would beat prime Lennox IMO.

Noone else would be a clear favorite against prime Lennox.

no way is he the best HW ever
Lewis deserves ATG status at HW for sure
but the Klit era has caused him to be overrated in recent yrs
people are longing for better days, so he's put on a pedestal
