I wouldn't be bothered if Kovalev won. I think Andre is a fantastic human being and I respect him tons, but he doesn't validate me as a person or a boxing fan. I'd rather see the best man win.
Kovalev has certain personally quirks (chough*racist*cough) but I still like him a lot as a fighter and have learned a good deal from watching him. He's such a brilliant example of how proper form can generate massive power without needing to load up, exaggerate, have bulking muscle, etc.
