It's almost comical to see Floyd fans stating someone barely won a fight..the same thing they get mad when people do to them they'll turn around and say about Canelo now? Come on...fan of neither man technically but if he didn't beat Trout, then Floyd didn't beat ODH.

To the people who say Canelo didn't or barely beat trout, think again. Trout whooped Cotto, wouldn't you say? Cotto did put a beating on Mayweather in a pretty close fight, wouldn't you say? Now I know styles make fights and that scenario doesn't necessarily mean Canelo will whoop Mayweather. But we do need to take that into consideration. You're a fool if you don't.

The scores in the Mayweather-Cotto fight were vitrually identical to Cotto-Trout and this was with Mayweather fighting Cotto in the trenches and electing not to use footwork, so IMO it isn't the same thing. And whooped is a strong word. All Mayweather caught in that fight was some strong jabs. He lost a couple clear rounds, but it wasn't more than 3.

Except this is the exact opposite because Mayweather-ODH was a clear UD by Mayweather and Alvarez-Trout was not that wide even though I had Alvarez winning.

Alvarez won the Trout fight fair and square...
When I said that I have encountered much critique on this site...
(And it happened before the Canelo-Floyd fight announcement).

Alvarez made an epochal discovery on Mayweather...

Canelo said to Ring TV: “If you really look at it, that’s [right hands and jabs] the only things he has, that’s all he does. I’m going to formulate my game plan around that.”

Lucky me! If there was no Canelo, I would have never found out that all that Floyd has are rights hands and left jabs...

The thing is, WE and Floyd's opponents know this already. Yet they still don't know how to stop those said "right hands" and "jabs".

Well, Saul, if that's "all he has", then you better take them away from him. It'll be fun to watch because he'll get hammered with the right hand and the jab in the process.

                  Precisely: that's it...
(I suspect that many fighters only have right hands and jabs...)

Once Floyd start jabbing him upstairs and downstairs, he won't be able to predict when Floyd will throw the lead right or overhand right. Canelo can't throw power shots without planting his feet first. Floyd has already fought a few fighters[Oscar, Cotto, and Marquez to some extent] like him already.

Canelo has never fought anyone nearly as good as Floyd before. Floyd has unpredictable rhythm. It's not easy to predict when he'll throw a lead right, left hook, uppercut, jab to the body, ect. Canelo has a good chance of winning this fight because he has really good timing and punching accuracy especially when he throw body punches. If he can't land enough body punches to at least slow Floyd down or knock him down, then he'll have a tough time winning this fight since he isn't an unpredictable puncher as Floyd is.

When your elite and unbeaten there is nobody you think can beat you Floyd is sure he can beat anyone , no fighter on top fights people they think will beat them that concept makes no sense at all , some of the crap you guys say is just so fanboy .
