Canelo has never fought anyone nearly as good as Floyd before. Floyd has unpredictable rhythm. It's not easy to predict when he'll throw a lead right, left hook, uppercut, jab to the body, ect. Canelo has a good chance of winning this fight because he has really good timing and punching accuracy especially when he throw body punches. If he can't land enough body punches to at least slow Floyd down or knock him down, then he'll have a tough time winning this fight since he isn't an unpredictable puncher as Floyd is.
My guess is that the best thing Canelo could do is to stay in the distance (he has a decent defense) and fight in spurts, hoping to somehow catch Floyd with some of his fast powerful combos.
(The best thing one should do is to use his own style and skills. Unfortunately it's what I think Canelo should do best -- not what he needs to do in order to win.)

I don't know why people seem to think this will be a tough fight for Mayweather. Alvarez has done absolutely nothing in the ring to indicate that he even belongs in the ring with Mayweather as a sparring partner.

Not as unhealthy as being a **** sniffer like you. Floyd is a god gifted cherry picker in a weak era who dodged any threats at all costs because he can't punch and dances around like a ballerina to avoid getting hit. He's trash and would get smoked by any decent welter through history in their prime which is why he ducked them all and has no prime opponents on his resume. Floyd as a boxer is wacked compared to other true greats and m,maybe u would see that if your head wasnt so far up in his azz

Alvarez is going to test Floyd like he hasn't been tested in years.

Oh, really. Send me a message me after the fight and tell me what a great test Alvarez was for Floyd. I don't think anyone will say after the fight that Alvarez is over-hyped and over-rated. They will say things like 'he was affected by the catchweight' and 'he wasn't ready to fight Floyd.' I think after his return fight, people like you will see the light and realize that Alvarez is just an average fighter. They realized this with Ricky Hatton and Alvarez is no better than Hatton, in my opinion.

Alvarez may be a great test for someone like Keith Thurman, but he will be nothing more than a glorified sparring partner for Floyd.

I can tell you right now about a test. The test is to see if Floyd can fight without hugging and running. Donīt start with your ******ed sermon: Hit and donīt be hit BS, or heīs slick. One thing is to dodge a punch, do the bending like Chavez used to do, etc. Another thing is to do that for half the fight, even after Floyd punches, he hugs!!!!!! Floyd is an overhyped product of US marketing.
