First of all, Pacquaio didn't give Marquez anything. Fighting Marquez in the second fight was the way to guarantee him the biggest purse. Arum forced him to fight Marquez in the third and fourth fight to avoid putting Pacquaio in the ring with Mayweather. Secondly, JMM doesn't need to prove anything. The knockout in the last fight was not a fluke and no rematch is needed.

You are correct that he did chase him, but its not like manny has been fighting nothing but david diaz type fighters.....

I give props for manny because he got a gift from the judges in the 3rd bout, and instead of saying its over, trilogy done, he came back and gave jmm a 3rd rematch...... He could have easily dodged him then..... But he didnt...

The gift thing is overblown. A solid majority of press row cards did not have him winning, including both BS editors:

So Pac will fight his stylistic nightmare for a solid purse, but JMM refuses to fight a guy he's got all figured out for 2x his career best purse. How do you explain?

There has to be a 5th fight. Only fair to give a man his shot for knocking him out after him giving you chances. All fights have been exciting and worth my money. I pay to see exciting fights, not to see a runner throwing one punch and claiming that he won.

Yeah, people only like to call robbery because it's Marquez favorite word in the English language. I also had Pacquaio winning, and although people 'hate' on compubox, it also agrees Pacquaio outboxed Marquez.

CompuBox statistics showed that, in terms of overall landed punches, Pacquiao out-landed Marquez in nine rounds. Marquez out-landed Pacquiao in one (Round 8). They landed an equal number in two (Rounds 3 & 9). In terms of power punches landed, according to CompuBox statistics, Pacquiao out-landed Marquez in eight of the rounds.

You can't give compubox much creedence. What is telling is the evenness of the ringside vote. It's a similar breakdown to JMM 2 in fact. In any case, for robberies there has to be a consensus, like 9-1. This is nothing like it, more like a textbook draw.

That said, I remember Marquez fans bringing up much smaller compubox advantages for JMM in the other 2 fights, despite the KDs.

That's the thing, how often do you see so many people crying about the rerun of a fight that was last years FOTY, KOTY, with ROTY contender?

Wouldn't mind watching it a 5th time but JMM is the only one between the two with a conclusive victory out of the 4 fight series, they both should move on its done.

no doubt about it .. he went through hell just to get thAT KO..and part of it was becuase of pac making a very unusual mistake and not wholely due to him setting him up ...part luck , part skill was how jmm destroyed manny...
