Catch weights....good or bad for boxing???

think about it....with them we get fights that otherwise may never happen....but then again with them we get fights that turnout to be mismatches and blown up legacies....

should CW's be abolished from boxing or do you dig them??

As much of a ***** move that they can be, I am fine with them generally.

1). As you mentioned, fights that otherwise might not have happened, happen.

2.) Nobody is twisting any bodies arm to sign big fights like that. If a fighter is cool with dropping the extra weight to make the fight happen, then he signs the contract. If he knows how body and knows it just can't happen, he doesn't sign or they continue negotiations.

But yeah, generally speaking I'm fine with catch weights

Edit: to answer the question lol, good for boxing

bad for the fights, good for the possibility of restructuring the weight classes. probably not.

Nobody was weight drained in that fight! You know what the *** I meant! Besides the only reason GBP made that fight at 141 was so PEDerson could keep his belt after getting his ass handed to him.
