i have no problem with athletes using peds. Sports consists of two main things, your physical ability and your skill set. No drug can make you hit 70 home runs or make you hit a mid range J like MJ. Denying ped use is denying human evolution. What has happened is that the media has hijacked sports fans critical thinking and programmed them to automatically hate on athletes who use peds in order to improve their performance as if using a drug made by the ingenuity of man somehow suddenly became immoral if used in a sports context.

I find it truly idiotic how people were hating on ray lewis for using deer antler spray so he can come back quicker from injury. Why in the world would that be wrong? Let them use. Legalize it and make it safer by making it meet safer health guidelines. Its ok to use peds in other aspects of life why not sports where they can actually use it? You have commercials lasting a couple of minutes about new pharma drugs where they list nothing but its lethal side effects yet somehow people are up in arms when Lance used peds in a sport where everybody uses peds. Fernando Vargas used roids vs Oscar, look how well that turned out for him.

lol, people still use the oscar vs mosley/vargas as an example of non-roider can beating a roider, but oscar is also a roider/ped user

wake up. your breakfast is ready you f.u.cking nincompoop.
it's better off illegal, this is great from a fans perspective but no one should be forced to get on routine pills popping or injections of god knows what kind of drugs just to compete, i prefer it now as it is looked down upon and cheats that are found out are served with a penalty, although some get away with it even after being caught, it's better than just letting this sht go rampant and be ok and cool

and i can just see some crazy bastards roiding to the brim, and if the other guy isn't as crazy with his pill popping and injections the other guy will be incredibly strong, i.e impossible to ko, and very big puncher, probabley with alot of stamina too

I'm telling you turd eaters now: I am NOT in any way trying to defend a fighter who's been caught, there are no ulterior motives. Its a simple question. Thanks.

It's not just your traditional steroids, it's things like EPO, testosterone, peptides, growth hormones etc. They allow you to train harder for longer and recover quicker. That will sharpen your skills to an extent because you are working more and more, but it also makes you stronger, faster and you can cut weight easier.

I understand your point though. If your skills are dog**** all the PED's in the world won't help you out with a clean guy levels above you in terms of skill. Just means you will take the beating better.

However if you are on the same level or even 5% below the PED's will make all the difference.

They improve your physical set as whole. Only way to make it fair is if everyone could do it and strict guidelines are put in place limits to how much can be used 365 testing to make sure no ones over doping and cycled off and on properly but that would cost way to much money. So it should stay illegal

depends for what reason, which ones and what timing, of if purely to avoid detection, i will tell u 99% of ppl on forums think they know about steroids or PEDS and they are absolutely clueless, ask the majority of fans which drug has which half life or clearance time, and they would struggle with google, chemical name, make up, or even having experience, most part time casual bodybuilders think they know there ****, take tens times more what they need to and look like runts, and they can't tell the difference in injecting a hormone or cotton seed oil, most are ignorant dumbasses

There is a shady weightlifting event here in Australia involving many people with criminal pasts/links. The event is not recognised by any athletic or weightlifting organisation. No drug testing takes place, and, naturally, it is widely suspected that participant are drugged up to the eyeballs. At this event just recently, a participant broke the world record in a certain event.

If this guy, probably some friend of a bikie or drug-runner, is breaking world records with the help of roids, I think it is far to say it helps strength significantly. And judging by Ben Johnson in the 80s and Lance Armstrong zooming through the mountains at a million miles an hour, I think it's fair to say it helps with speed also.

helps with their training more than anything I feel, it will help them push them beyond their limits, leading to their stamina, strength and endurance being increased. I am not so sure if it helps their speed that much

Ped's, in many forms, can improve everything physical.

Speed, power, stamina, physical strength, recovery - they can make a decent fighter a very good one and a good fighter a great one.
