In all seriousness tho, ii still believe it was a business move by mayweather. There isn't much on the horizon for mayweather as far as big fights, so asking for the catchweight and getting all the Floyd hatrlers jimmies rustled, opens up the opportunity for a rematch at 'canelos weight'.

Floyd will outclass canelo, people will cry about the catchweight, and Floyd will say I'll beat his ass at 154. Bam, two mega fights and huge paychecks.

In all reality, its too early to tell, we won't know until the fight happens. The extra cut can be really good for canelo, or really bad.

What's gonna be funny, is haters are gonna act like canelos stamina wasn't **** before the mayweather fight, and that the catchweight is to blame for the stamina issues should they be present.

Could you imagine if Canelo beat Floyd, I really it to happen to see how the P4P lists would look then. Would Canelo get the proper #1 ranking he deserve or will they still hold it for Andre and say he was the true #1 all along, even though he hasn't fought in ever a year.

Even if he does somehow beats FMJ he should be nowhere near the #1P4P spot. He might crack the top 10. Ward, JMM and Rigondeaux would be more derserving than Alvarez.

In all seriousness, if that was the case then mayweather would have asked for a rehydration clause before the catchweight. Canelo is still gonna walk out to the ring weighing 20 or so pounds more than floyd, possibly even closer to 25 pounds heavier. Just chew on that thought for a second.

And let's be real, canelo had huge stamina issues before this fight with mayweather. So....his stamina will improve as he's forced to get in better shape, or it will continue to be ****ty, or possibly even worse than ****ty lol. In anycase, its way too early to tell and we won't know until the fight happens
