Dzinzurik was a title holder at JMW and stepped up in weight to fight Martinez, how is that reaching?
now compare that to Foreman who was a part time boxer/rabbi who was handicapped when he fought Cotto.
And he had to step up to fight Martinez, while Cotto came to a new weight class and beat a champion in Foreman. Foreman's knee, which he says he injured at 15, never bothered him when he beat Daniel Santos for the title. Foreman's win over Santos is better than anything Dzinziruk has ever done.
Cotto was beating his ass before his knee gave out.
Threads like this, well, you have to ignore a lot of bs and nonsense from haters, trolls, or uninformed posters.
I think Cotto has a better resume, plain and simple. He may not have a lot of elite wins, Mosley being the one, but he has names that were solid enough to keep him in the spotlight for almost ten years while winning considerably more than he lost.
Martínez has a better recent resume, if that makes sense. From 2010 to 2012, Martínez resume is way better than Cotto's but, overall, Cotto still has the more consistent one.
I hope these two fight sometime. I am sure the fight will be very competitive and many will be surprised.
