All you need to do is look at Paulie's fights with Hatton or Khan. Now those were dominations and easy wins.

Broner didn't come close to matching those performances against an older Paulie. He won but it was far from convincing

I agree. Maidana would make his internal organs gelatin with one well placed body shot. Broner will slip and roll EL CHINO like he's trying to survive the last 8 seconds of a round his face just met the canvas in.

Teddy always keeps it real. But I disagree with him on this one, Broner did enough to win in a normal fight, but not to take the belt from someone. Those are two different types of victories.

What the heck does that dumb crap even mean? Normal fight or title fight the boxers job is to win more rounds then the other fighter. I hate when people say that crap "oh well you have to take the title from the champ". You can do that by either knocking him out or winning more rounds, if you don't like the performance by said fighter then tough luck, he won the fight. So he took the title from the champ, whether it was close or a blowout

You're right, but you know that's not how it works much of the time. There's such a thing as hometown judging, and kicks in pretty often when fighting a hometown champ. Of course, here the hometown guy was the B side

It means doing enough to win a fight with no title on the line is not the same as doing enough to win when you are the challenger, challenging for a title. To take a title you have to win convincingly, or it's a draw at best.
