    can you imagine leonard ellerbe employing virgil hunter's whispering tactic as he gives floyd one of his signature chest rubs?

    {whispering voice}

    "you're the best floyd. do you like it clockwise or counter clockwise? you're really glistening right now floyd. You're so amazing."

      Gonzales easily could have won if he'd just fought any of the rounds in the 2nd half of the fight as he had in the 1st. This is why his trainer was angry with him in the corner: he knew he was giving the fight away.

      Oosthuizen did put in a bad performance though. I don't know why he fought so lethargically.

        Hi Shoulder roll - I am one of the big supporters of Tommy and was really disappointed with hius perfromance, I still had him winning by 2 rounds but a draw is probably the correct result. It has been the worst performance I

          There's no way he won that fight, bro. He was lucky to even salvage a draw.

            sorry I hit the wrong key .... have seen of his not sure why, I have a friend who knows Tommy quite well and they are in the states at the moment hoping to talk to him in the next couple of weeks. Tommy had a an off night maybe because its his first fight since November or maybe Gonzales style does'nt suite him but I'am glad he can no go away and work on this, this won't happen again I know a lot of people are writing him off but this was an off night, it won't happen again. I still think Tommy has the beating of most super middle's but that is my opinion - I think Tommy's next move should be a rematch and if that doe'snt take place fight Biko and take his title then Tommy can be in the driving seat about big super fights.

              I think it was style. Oosthuizen has looked quite skilful in the past but this guy made him look crude and limited for much of the fight. I don't think he should rematch the guy, take the draw and move on.

              Sakio Bika in an all-African clash would be a good bout, not sure if Al Haymon (manager) would sanction that however.

                Hi The weebler - you're probably right about the style, even though Tommy is 6ft4 his reach is not all that long, some of the shorter guys have a longer reach so he has to get close to land his quick combo's ie that's why he gets caught alot, but he has a durable chin. Yep so maybe move on and fight Bika as much as he wants Kessler is fine but I think Kessler has now retired so this may or may not happen. - But like you say politics may stop the Bika fight.
