Nah Golden Boy is happy that hey have a new beast in Matthysse, but they won't let Khan near him. They can cash out Garcia because he's not as big a draw as Khan is (if you add the british market). And if it's competitive they'll have a rematch, let these two big punchers damage each other while Khan gets the easier road to Floyd.

I can't understand what Khan says. He has a thick accent and does not say words very clearly. I don't believe Khan will ever fight Matthysse. Schaefer and whoever else picks Khan's fights are keeping Khan away from big punchers because of his weak chin.Matthysse would only add another KO loss to Khan's record in my opinion. Khan says he is fighting as a welterweight from now on so I guess they would want Matthysse to fight Khan at a 147 pound weight limit even though Lucas is a 140 pounder. I think Lucas would love to fight Khan at any weight.

the guy has a heart of a true champion, a shame he was robbed by peterson, it really did ruin his career imo

he can rebuild, despite what people say, khan can beat lucas, like he beat marcos, of course he would be a huge underdog but the guy is talented, if he had a solid chin, the guy would still be undefeated right now

just look at how bad he was beating up garcia before his chin died, he was really giving garcia a good beating, if he had a chin, garcia would have been stopped a couple of rounds later

I've never been a Khan fan and I was one of those people demanding he fight Maidana back when Chino was his mandatory, but since then I've grown to respect his balls and heart.

Would Khan return to 140 to take on Lucas? Tough fight but big props if he does.

Hearing this + the talk about Garcia-Judah II makes me less optimistic for a Garcia-Matthysse fight though.
