Idk another bad loss could take him outta the mayweather sweepstakes but if he fights him I won't complain I'd still like to see what khan has to offer against Floyd every fighter Floyd has fought that is as fast or faster then him he gets nailed not saying khan would win but the first four would be interesting if it last that long haha

I've never been a Khan fan and I was one of those people demanding he fight Maidana back when Chino was his mandatory, but since then I've grown to respect his balls and heart.

Would Khan return to 140 to take on Lucas? Tough fight but big props if he does.

Hearing this + the talk about Garcia-Judah II makes me less optimistic for a Garcia-Matthysse fight though.

Why cant Matthysse move up? He has more welter fights than Khan does.

Im a Khan fan but saying something and doing something are two different things. I've never understood why people on here give guys huge props for saying they'd fight someone in an interview.

That being said, Khan would actually fight Mathysse. I firmly believe that. And he makes a good point about how he'd be far more on guard in that fight. I don't think he expected Garcia to punch as hard as he did. He knows what he's dealing with if he fights Lucas.

Khan might last longer vs Matthysse than he did vs Garcia cause he's aware of the danger BUT Khan can't handle pressure as we saw from the Peterson fight and he doesnt fight too well on the inside. Lucas will trap him and stop him eventually.

I am a Khan fan and agree. Khan's chin has been shaken far too easily, but it may be a case of moving up will help. Like at 135 he was getting dropped easy, then mvoed up and took some good shots. I hope it is the case he just found it hard to make weight.

As for lasting long, Khan has the speed, and footspeed to get out. Matthyse is flat footed when he punches and that will mean he has less chance to land. Khan also showed he held a lot more VS Diaz. He may hold on for dear life when hit which will help him.
