Like I said survivalist fighters are more dangerous than offensive fighters, KO artists... You just mentioned the perfect example, Rigo. Fighting such boxers is like trying to pull a poisonous spider out of the ground with your bare hands. Back in the days most fights consists of fighters who want to knock each other out. Nowadays, boxers are just happy to survive a fight. Garcia is a bit different. Once he senses that he can survive the fight, he will go for a guaranteed survival -- KO.

Don't even know why you compared this to the Donaire/Rigo fight. Rigo was perceived to be the guy pushing for the fight, yet it didn't show in the fight. Donaire was chasing a guy who was hell-bent on just surviving.

In this case, Matthysse is the one expected to go for a KO, obviously, he's the one pushing for the fight. It's nothing like that in the Rigo/Donaire. So drop the comparison. It's nonsense.

Wth are you talking about? If you read the post I quoted and my response then you would know why I made the comparison.

Rigo wasn't perceived, he WAS the one pushing for the fight. What you do in the ring has nothing to do with it. He knew why he wanted this fight. He saw Donaire's weaknesses, they were always there.

In this case Lucas knows Garcia's weaknesses. A very sloppy guy who can't box and is flat footed who likes to go into exchange mode when he gets touched and has bad stamina. That all plays into Lucas' strengths. ****** Garcia won't be hard to get on the ropes and he won't be hard to hit. And he's been hurt by much lesser hitters. And guess what? Garcia has been in the ring and knows all of this as well.

Rigo was bent on surviving yet threw and landed more than Donaire... Yawn.

Donaire wasn't anywhere near as hesitant as Garcia appears to be. If not for the confusion about whether Rigo signed everything he was supposed to sign, we never would have heard any of the "roadblocks" we heard about.

He set up 20 thousand roadblocks, it wasn't just about the testing.

He's nobody. He hasnt done enough. Then the date. Then we have to fight in China. Then the testing. List goes on... I think he even said something about Rigo being with Memo.

When it was time to make the fight, they made the fight. Donaire showed up for his schooling.

We're still waiting to see if Garcia will do the same.

                  Well, yea you're right.

Hell, why is Lucas the only one making headlines and we're not hearing anything from team Garcia? They're too busy partying trying to keep the thought of Lucas out of their heads?

That has me wondering more than anything else. Garcia and his pop NEVER shut up, especially when they're supposed to be fighting in a couple months.

Damn it, they need to make this fight official damn it. They cannot screw Lucas now.

All we got was a sorry ass Tweet... Why isn't Pops talking smack about Argentinians or something?
