The number of combined fights for everyone below Mayweather is something like 15-20, that's not counting fighters I didn't list like Alexander, Garcia and as you mentioned Berto. With those names the number is closer to 30 fights combined. That's not counting Mayweather mind you.
Looking at the number of fights they had thats hardly HBO developing anything.

HBO developed them into household names among boxing fans. Mayweather is a household name even among people who are barely aware of the sport.

You're being dense with your answers.

Mayweather was a huge part of the HBO brand, he fought over 10 times on their network and they supported him for years. He was with them and not Showtime for a reason: they were the network that made him a star.

Mayweather himself is a big part of why he was famous but you can't deny HBO's part in bringing him up to that level. It's not like Showtime did anything to develop him. That's my entire point here.

The one Golden Boy fighter who truly came up on Showtime is Abner Mares. Everyone else made their names on HBO and were moved over gradually (and before HBO said they wouldn't be working with GBP).

Is that the only match-up you can think of? That's a great option for B-Hop, not necessarily for Adonis. And since GBP/HBO are on bad terms, why would that fight even be discussed? HBO could match Adonis with Bellew, Cloud, Kovalev/Cleverly winner, Pascal/Bute winner, or a rematch with Dawson. Later down the line, they could match him up with Ward too. People want to see B-Hop make history (again), but I couldn't care less about that.

HBO getting rid of the Haymon/Schaefer mafia team has been beneficial to fans. Gone are the Berto and Haymon infested garbage fights at HBO. The mafia team are now forced to behave well. Otherwise, Showtime will lose money.

So it's been good so far.
The HBO-(Haymon/GBP) break up has been good for fans. Without the breakup fans would have resumed watching cherrypicked fights inspired by the Haymon-Schaefer team. Broner has been getting flak for his cherrypicked fights. Canelo, Mayweather and others as well. Look at the positive things that have happened so far as a result besides the recent Showtime matchups.

The breakup has been good indeed. The Haymon/GBP marinating days are over.
