when ha floy eve fought at 160?
Nobody is asking Floyd to go up to 160, GGG wants to challenge him at SWW. You know, where Floyd is champ, #1 rated contender, about to fight for a bunch of belts including the Lineal one (* at a CW). If you're #1, aren't you fair game at the weight?

Any one who thinks Foch can beat this kid is dead wrong ! The thing with GGG is his balance, he toyed with Macklin and carried him til the 3rd. Foch has too much bravado for his own good - no one is taking a flush shot on the chin from GGG. They say he has no defense I say watch him - the boy has timing and evil intentions - Floyd is too small for him. Now Floyd 4 or 5 years ago? I would love to see GGGfight quilled who can crack and is a pretty good package. gGG is going to have to move up - soon no one will want to fight him at 160.

never underestimate carl froch, people always make that mistake. It was funny when people were saying froch would get drawn in to a brawl against abraham and get knocked out but froch kept his discipline the whole fight and dominated.

Imagine if GGG goes up to 168 and demolishes Froch, boxing world would go nuts.

Sadly not here. Most of the guys here would prolly find some excuse to down play it.

yeah, just like sergio martinez had to move up from 154 to 160.

sergio won't be available to fight until 2014, so if gennady can't get chavez or murray in november, i think froch is the best fight. golovkin has the body frame to stay at 160 for a long time, but if there's no competition left there (the division is pretty weak) why not move up to fight these big names like ward and froch a division above? they're both on the p4p lists and they won't be there for long. we all know mayweather and alvarez won't consider a golovkin fight, so there's no need to mention 154 in golovkin's future plans imo.

i dont think he should be fighting at 154 of 168. he seems like a good 160 and there are plenty of people in that division so why move up

disagree, his options are very slim at 160, especially for non walkover type fights

Golovkin is so good, and 160 is so weak that he will have to go to 168 before we really see someone push the limits of GGG. Arum isn't letting his cash cow JCC get demolished, Dibella wont let martinez get demolished, and Oscar won't let Quillin go near GGG. So what fight that's actually makeable is really left at 160lbs for GGG that won't get GGG criticized for weak opposition. Murray is the only one i can think of.
