Golovkin is too small for 168.

He's a small middleweight, Macklin was obviously much bigger.

I'd sooner see GGG fight Mayweather at 154 (Floyd is a big welterweight about the same size as GGG with a longer reach and has fought at 154 in the past)

I'd also like to see GGG fight Trout, Martinez, Chavez, Cotto, Alvarez, Murray, Quillan, or the Barker-Geale winner.

All of that is a blatant falsehood.

Not yet. It would be a good fight but there's other options

Make this fight happen. Just yesterday all you GGG fans were crying about GGG making only 300,000 for yesterdays fight. And now you want him to walk away from a huge super fight internationly smh. Froch can sell out any stadium in England by himself. You throw GGG in there at its a homerun. His end could be multi millions. You fans are funny.

Bad Matchup for Froch. Froch is a great fighter but does not have the technical skill to match GGG. If Mikel Kessler, who is a shot washed up version of himself, was able to put Froch on ******treet during the 11th round of their matchup, imagine what Golovkin could do? Don't get me wrong it would be a great fight and Froch will put on a great performance in a fight of the year candidate but I just don't see a scenario where Froch wins.
Note to the UK Fans: We all know Froch can sell out in the UK. Its sad when the biggest strength of a British boxer is that they can sell out some stadium but whatever. GGG should save Froch for the fight before Andre Ward, which is at least a year and a half away. GGG needs to beat Martinez or Chavez first, and with Martinez sidelined for another year, a matchup with Chavez is inevitable and would sell like crazy. Froch should not risk facing this Golovkin until the public demands it or in the event that all other options have been exhausted, otherwise, it could be career over.

GGG just made $300K in this fight and has a major push from HBO behind him. Truth is, he really doesn't make sense for any of the top middleweights. His future is likely at super middleweight, which is why HBO has he and Ward on a collision course. GGG-Froch sounds damn good to me as far as hyping that potential superfight. Plus, fighting Froch overseas will pay GGG more than anything he could make with the current middles.

I respectfully disagree completely, Golovkin can hang with any super middleweight out there, like his trainer Abel Sanchez said "there are not many heavyweights that can hang with him in the gym, period" I don't know what he weighed last night after re-hydrating but he did not look like a small MW, he can come up to 168 very easy. Great fight it would be against Froch, but Gennady beats him. (I am a Froch fan too)

Hes too small to fight froch but he can fight mayweather??? If GGG can make 152 they should give him one of titles for just taking the fight!

GGG should fight murray or barker (if he wins) that will build huge $ for the froch fight and then ward!! If wins those he might aswell keep going untils a heavyweight champ!!!!
