Let's be real. GGG is not too big for Floyd.

This guy has said before, I don't care what the scale says, Guerrero is bigger than Rios or something like that. But he's also said, don't care what the bookies say, Chavez beating Lee was a big upset. I'm not even kidding, I called it before. I said here comes this guy, we're about to read "what do scales know about weight" and sure enough he delivered.Comment

Canelo is a 22 year old sloooooowwwwwwwwwww fighter with a not too impressive KO ratio.
GGG KO to fight ratio sounds more like he's shooting people in the ring rather than punching them. He's fast, skilled, a 30 year old frafty boxer.
And you really wonder why Floyd goes for the likes of Canelo?Comment

I don't get why people are saying GGG's too big for Floyd, but Canelo is a good fight.
He's smaller than Canelo for goodness sakes.
If you dont get why people say he's too big, then you're just ****ing thick.
Floyd was best at 130 and 135. He now fights naturally and comfortably at 147, but also does 154 fights if they are there, but he never weighs in at 154. That's because he's small and anyone who is a natural middleweight and would fight from 160 to 168 is too big.
Canelo has only just moved up recently to 154 and has only fought about two or three times max at the full 154 limit. Before that he was fighting at 147 and also around 150/152 etc.
It's not hard to figure out mate. You're searching too much. Losing your grip on reality trying to find something to use against the guy. Hold him to the same standards as you would other fighters.Comment

They may come to the ring at similar weights. As did Gatti at 140.
But the difference is Golovkin has never weighed under 160 lbs as a pro (give or take a lb or so)
Canelo was under 154 in his very last fight.
That's the difference.Comment

But if Floyd came out and said, this guy has to prove he can make 154 before challenging me, I'd expect 3G to drop down and prove it. The problem would be finding a worthy opponent. Molina might be the best guy that's willingComment
