One or two more performances like that and GGG will make good numbers in the US. I think his popularity should rise quiet a bit after performances like that against solid opponents. Golovkin has everything you ask for as a boxing fan. Mayweather would not fight GGG but you cant blame him. He just dont have to, physically hes a small 147 pounder and i still think he could also still fight at 140 if he wanted to. Why should he fight a guy whos an animal even at 160??

FLOYD is fighting CANELO in a catchweight after all these years of trash talking over PACQUIAO...what a *****!
Mayweather weighs less than most 140 fighters do on fight night but he should fight full fledged MW's? GTFO idiot.

I really like GGG, but this is like Vitali calling out Golovkin. There´s a reason for weight divisions (even if there are too many).

If the middleweight fighter can come down to 154 and make the weight what is the problem?

Floyd has no problem facing Cotto or Alvarez, with Alvarez hydrating HIGHER than GGG did in his fight vs Macklin (172 vs 170).

Just admit, you're ****** and lack common sense.

If a fighter can make the weigh in the weigh in and hydrates to a lesser weight than Canelo does yet Floyd fights him what is the problem? Well? It's exactly the same.

Common sense says middleweights fight middleweights not small welterweights. Golovkin should fight Ward there's not much difference in natural size.

Canelo never competed above 154, GGG is a MW champion, why would you wanna see him fight a smaller and older man? Would you give him credit if he won?
