they have a tenis game dependent on their skills, and not athleticism. athelticism is why monfils, an inferior tennis player, can be @ the world class.

monfils is faster, changes direction better. he's more fleet. he moves better. they're better tennis players, making better tennis decisions. he's an inferior tennis player, making up for his lack of tennis skills with athletic gifts, in this case speed.

Kovalev is being hyped up by everyone, American's included. He has an American promoter (duva) mainly fights over here and is gathering quite a following.

Is he P4P yet? hell no. If he continues on his path of destruction though he will make many lists in his next few fights.

I am not sure why you have this biased agenda. Boxing is an individual sport not some flag waving "us against them" scenario. This is not for Olympic Medals. This is for individual Pride and making a living. Stop trying to make it all about a flag, or national pride.

Absolutely, Kovalev is a monster and he's not even American, but imagine if he was? The hype would be insane. But it's become a "thing" for American fans to hate on fighters of different countries, especially if they're punchers. They'll tell you that any of their "slick" American fighters would dominate them purely based on the fact that they prefer fantasy wins over real ones.

What are you talking about? Most Americans root for a lot of foreign fighters. In fact, Americans on the most part might be the least nationalistic nation in the sport. Look at GGG for example.
