I love you as a fan of the sport and a poster, but that's just not true.

No one in their right mind would turn down a PPV fight with Mayweather or Canelo to face an internet darling that nobody really knows like Golovkin.

Now if you wanna **** on Sergio for fighting the likes of Barker, Macklin, Murray over Golovkin then that's a different story.
His manager shouldn't be making claims he can't keep then should he. Sooner or later the kazakh KO king is gonna catch up to Martinez, he can't hide forever.

Canelo right now has nothing but trout on his resume, and he struggled in that fight, his record is about as unproven as GGG right now, and if/when GGG beats Macklin I'd argue it'll be better. GGG would wreck Mosley, he's shot to ****, same with Cotto or a few of the other gatekeepers.
Not the way the game works kid. This is prize fighting, key word PRIZE. And the biggest prize available to Martinez will be the Floyd-Canelo winner, or loser for that matter. Martinez' window is closing and he wants to make the most money possible, and woube doing so against a damn good fighter. No harm there.

BTW, what exactly has GGG done that makes him a "must fight" for Martinez? His best win is over a guy that just got clowned by Sergio Mora. And what rule dictates that he can't fight GGG AFTER he fights the Floyd-Canelo winner? Macklin is a good start. But he's the first legitimate middleweight contender GGG has faced. If Martinez does get his wish of the Floyd-Canelo winner. How about GGG fight one of the top middleweights like Geale, Kid Chocolate, or Chavez Jr? Beat one of them, then some of this hype he has will be a lil more legitimate. Damn I wish fight fans would stop falling in love with every cat that comes down the pike that can hit hard.

Martinez has no drawing power and has been chasing floyd for years so Floyd might be able to make Martinez to 150

Martinez is in the twilight of his career, he looked over the hill in his last fight, wouldn't be a good idea for him to move down to 154 or 152 at 38 yrs old. And Floyd would gain nothing by fighting him.

Kid choclate has stated pretty much GGG is too dangerous to fight for the money hes worth, its common knowledge hes been ducking even before ggg went with HBO. Have you seen his amatuer record and who he has faced and beat? He is the most feared middleweight at the koment, and with his skills you don't have to be an expert to see why. He stopped ishida who had never been stopped, same with proska, stopped kasim ouma who has an iron chin and went to war, afterwards kasim went to the hospital as his brain had swollen and they feared a brain hermorage. He has the greatest KO of any middleweight champion in history and holds the highest ko rate of any active champion. He can box, brawl, has a great chin, great footwork and punchinv technique, exceptoional balance and distance control and cuts of the ring flawlessly. I cant remember the exact fighters but 1 unbeaten russian and another fighter were his mandatory, they vacated the titles and avoided him like the plague. Btw, he's also not a tw@t like some fighters and is a great guy and an olympic champ.

If Floyd fights Martinez for the middleweight title, I'd say the fight does plenty for him.

GGG is my boy and he's definitely a force to be reckoned with, but you have to take these accomplishments with a grain of salt given his competition and the fact that he didn't win his belt in the ring.

The Macklin fight will allow him to prove himself though.

Floyd is not willing to fight at 154 anymore, what makes you think he would fight above that?
