The good thing is theres not that many of those caliber of fighters out there. So his career will be fruitful until he decides to hang up the gloves.
agree. I could see him get exsposed the way rigo did Nonito or the way Barrera surprised and exsposed Naz by boxing and moving instead of slugging.

Real combination punching is also becoming a lost art. There are still some who carry the tradition, but it is fairly rare to see it. Most who do try it, could do better or gas out too quickly.

I mean just look how that little Soto had Matthysse befuddled at times. Kovalev fights guys who just cannot deal with him and they cower up. Combination punching is a beautiful thing/

Matthysse actually does well against slicksters. To me his weakness will be a guy who throws constant punches. 1-2s do not discourage him. Combos freezes him up and prevents him from setting up.

Agreed. Thing is IMO Soto is one of the most underrated and very best combination punchers in the sport. Is there anybody at 140 or 147 apart from Marquez that has those tools? Ajose is a very good combination puncher too.

Perhaps early in his career to be talking about him being exposed, but given the amount of hype we are about to experience with Anthony Ogogo im gonna go with him.

He just seems incredibly average to me. I am highly su****ious of his chin as ive seen hurt and dropped in the amateurs. His punch technique is poor, footwork is poor and doesnt look like he has much power.

Worst for me is that he just doesnt look like a natural athlete. I watch and play a lot of sport and theres certain things you need in nearly all of them. Good balance, body coordination, hand eye coordination and reactions are a must. I just dont see them in him.

The hype behind him is going to reach Amir Khan levels and will be very annoying to listen too.

Won't disagree. His stamina was exposed and his gameplan was bad though I feel he didn't come in with it.
I still feel Wlod is underrated and any other champion would of got brutalised in those 4 rounds. I don't feel I am being biased. I feel that showed if anything just how tough and crafty Wlod really is.
Look at the state of his face after the first round not to mention those bodyshots. Tough mofo!
