Does this now take away from Raheem's victory?

It has to be asked, doesn't it?

I take nothing away from Manny's victory, but he's just stopped a hombre who is most famous for being in a war trilogy. 51 fights has got to take something away from you.

I made 500mil in vbookie on a late Pac stoppage... he fought a good fight (is now an historical figure as being the only man to stop both Barrera and Morales) and used his pace well. But Morales was severely shopworn... that's not to detract from what Manny did, however.

I see a lot of derisory Morales threads on the front page, which is a shame... both fighters showed extremely creditable sportsmanship, and this is something that should be applauded and echoed. Morales wasn't at his best last night, but like a fine Amigo he went out on his shield.

** No it doesn't. Raheem is a fast footed quick handed fighter above Morales' best weight. But Raheem couldn't destroy Morales. Pac did, just busted him up like he was Boozo all liquored up!

I say: "yes, it does." This fight clearly indicated that Morales is ****ed. Therefore it's possible to argue that was done last time out too.

some people where already taking away from Raheem win even before this fight ... EM was underfocused for the fight ...

This win is totally different EM was fully prepared and conditioned for this fight, I have no chance of seeing the full fight yet, but what I see EM was still attacking and throwing punches till the last round ...

its hard to tell, but 3 losses in 4 fights maybe saying something...

I have underestimated Erik before PAC-EM 1 and I will never underestimate Erik again ... i have to see until Erik's next fight

Well, EM did take a tremendous beating last night and even if he comes back, he may never be the same again. Let's face it, JMM is more content to out-box and win boring decisions, especially after facing Manny. I'm sure EM's confidence has been affected by last night's fight. EM should think about retiring because he has nothing else to prove.

I like Manny's options. MAB rematch, then possibly JMM.

** Weren't you the fella who thought Wales and Scotland were countries? It's Pac who puts the retirement clause into Morales, not Raheem who just outspeeded a fighter above his weight class.

****, I just gave you good K for your first message. If I'd realised you were gonna be an abusive twat I wouldn't have bothered. you wanna talk boxing, talk boxing. You wanna flame, piss off to another thread.

Yeah, I AM the fella who thought Wales and Scotland were countries. Know why? Because they ARE.

And shall I explain the entire point of this thread to you in extremely simple terms so you can get it? I'm saying Morales has been shot for his last few fights... this confirmed it, which takes the edge off the Raheem win. That's much is OBVIOUS, surely?
