I've seen every fight Floyd Mayweather has ever participated in as a professional boxer, many of them multiple times. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he hurts, knocks down, or even stops Canelo depending on the circumstances. Little Floyd has a killer inside him. You just need to make him feel compromised enough to bring the beast alive.
This is someone who knows what they're talking about.

The only active boxer that Floyd has a good chance of knocking out is, Amir Khan. Canelo will be a super middleweight/light heavyweight on fight night. Floyd looks very stiff when he puts his combos together and i can't see him knocking Canelo out with one punch.

if canelo thinks he can win and comes all night i think floyd can drop him.

what happens is these guys give up mid fight every fighter besides hatton gave up mid fight.

oscar was taking it to floyd but gave up and retreated i think canelo will do the same.

          Absolutely.

If you look carefully enough you can see Floyd is actually in an extreme state of hyper alertness, even for a fighter. Especially when he gets trapped on the ropes. Full on fight or flight - kill or be killed panic mode.

I have been watching Guerrero fight since he turned pro and signed with Goosen - Guerrero is a dog ultra aggressive ! he wasn't aggressive against Floyd - if you press Floyd or B-hop you will take on a lot of punishment go on youtube and study the fights Mayne ! They take your will to win and aggression away - it is hard to KO someone who does not want to get Ko'd ! Floyd will not commit , he will let you commit ! Canelo is very young and brave that is why I see Floyd hurting him, because he knows no better - trust me...
floyd hasn't had a legit KO nince 2007

Floyd had the best defense game and he's the personification of a mobile power ambush fighter (you don't know when and how he throws).
Canelo has a fair defense and he has KO power in both hands. He's quick in combinations but a little flat footed. He's cool also -- extremely cool for his age.
I don't know how long in the fight Canelo will manage to stay cool as Floyd would take him where he's never been before. Canelo might loose his temper and panic or he might catch Floyd. Or Floyd simply ambushes him and outbox him...
But in case Canelo doesn't loose his temper it will be a boring fight (by " a boring fight" I mean the usual Floyd's 9 rounds)...
... Or they could fake the fight... Or...
                  And so on...

I think you're on the right track. However, in my view and in Floyd's own words it is his "no rhythm" style his opponents find so confounding. It's something akin to Bruce Lee's "no style - style fighting."

The idea is to confuse. To disarm. Then destroy.

i think money may would be better served to just outclass this kid...the least he can do, since he's already pulling the kid down to 152, and both hold titles @ the jr. middleweight limit of 154...
