Canelo is fighting Mayweather, he's reached the top of the sport and is raking in the money. He has a huge following and has the talent, looks and charisma.
Canelo has mass international appeal.

Canelo has a much bigger mexican fanbase but Broner can better sell his fights in the US because Canelo isn't fluent in english (some would argue broner isn't either).
Broner got better ratings though while canelo sold out san antonio.
I'd say Canelo right now given he has te floyd fight.

Both guys are young, up and coming boxers with an apparent skill-set and are crowd pleasers
difference is, one guy can deliver a KO if given the chance while the other is also quite capable but only after a prolonged beating, Also, it can't help that one guy is a loud, in your face black man who already gives people a reason to hate him but seemingly has a flaw to his game.
Canelo is clearly the bigger star, while unless he comes out and dominates Maidana and Lucas in dominating fashion he's gonna lose a lot of money and respectComment
