I brought it up because the fight hasn't happened yet so to post "floyd has had" 3 cw fights is not true. and if caneo comes in at 154 (as you and other posters have suggested) well then it wouldn't be a CW fight. Of course they'd still fight -Canelo would just pay a penalty-same as floyd did with JMM.

Both parties agreed to the term already, it's not like their still negotiating. If the fight doesn't go thru then yes it won't be on Floyds record but that still doesn't change the fact that Floyd wanted and asked for a CW and canelo agreed. The whole argument about this is about how Floyd and his fans claims he doesn't fight in CW bouts which is false, that's all I'm saying.
