guerrero had 2 ww fights before floyd and was a ranked ww. marquez floyd was years ago lets stay current.

i dont know how many tickets or ppvs rios/manny will sell. I assume it will do well at the gate and reasonably well on ppv.

Thats not true. I have an article that shows Floyd Mayweather initially asked for Canelo to fight him at 147 for their September 14th fight in Las Vegas, Nevada. When he was unable to get Canelo to fight at that weight, he targeted a catch-weight of 150. It was Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer who successfully negotiated the catch-weight of 152 lbs.
