      This is a sad truth..

If the KO loss to Matthysse did not take too much out of Peterson I think he could beat Broner. Peterson is a good boxer-puncher and he fights well at a distance or up close. He takes a good punch and punches pretty good and he throws lots more punches than Broner.

          The only fighter?

Based on the Paulie fight I would pick Alvarado, Rios (on work-rate), Khan and Matthysse to win. Hell, Danny Garcia has a good shot as well, though I feel Swifty's style is tailor made for Broner.

I don't think Golden Boy would make that fight. It is a risky fight for Broner and Peterson is coming off of a crushing KO loss so a win over him now would not really help Broner's rep much. Winning a new title belt does not seem to mean as much these days as it used to. Maybe Broner would want that fight so he could say he won world titles in three weight classes at 23 if he won. The guy does love to brag.

Good fight. I think I'd favour Peterson's versatility.

This whole he's my friend, we're like brothers crap is getting old. You people are supposed to be professionals! It's not a duel to the death. By the way I favor Peterson over any current 140lb boxer not named Lucas.

Being close friends is now a new excuse for these guys not to fight each other.

                  Lame fight anyway.

we will see this happening for sure, four time champ will hype up broner more than taking the risk versus maidana. i can see a bradley peterson repeat result in this fight. danny vs judah 2 and broner vs peterson are your next fights.

I'm siding with this. Unless Boner gets some power back at 140 which is possible.
