Since Lamont Peterson still holds a world title, can anyone see this fight being lined up next for Broner?

That would make him a 4-weight world champion, it's like something they would do.

Peterson is not exactly spoiled for choice. The friendly thing to do would actually be to give him the payday.

In theory Maidana should be next for Broner but I'm not sure his matchmakers will want him at 147 again.

I doubt this would happen as well. Pretty sure Barry hunter has a special relationship with both, and I think they've known each other since they were like 10 or something.

Good fight but it does not fit Broner's MO to fight a fighter like Peterson..So I doubt it happens..I will say Broner has to step it up to avoid becoming nothing more then a joke..That's for sure..

You'd like to think so, but he's pulling in monster ratings so there's no massive pressure to step it up just yet. I agree that he'll lose credibility in the hardcore boxing fanbase but they're only one factor and not the most important one.

Broner has already said Peterson is like a brother to him and he would never fight him. Matthysse is the only fighter at 140 I see having the best chance at beating Broner.
