just looked at the prices on stubhub I could sell ticket for $8500.00 if I wanted to

Canelos 40,000 sold out stadium only brought in 3 mil at the gate. Floyds fight with Guerrero brought in 9 mil selling about 25,000 less seats. The Barclay Center was packed last week. They will most likely surpass 3 mil at the gate.

edit: The fight will sell well because it's viewed as competitive and involves the biggest named boxer on the planet, to say Canelo is the reason is a pathetic attempt by Mayweather haters to have a dig at Mayweather.

At 22 Floyd had already become a world champ and a top 5 p4p fighter and already won his first fighter of the year only being in the sport for less than a year and a half. Let them charge the prices for the Trout fight that they are charging for this one and lets see if 40k people show up the cheapest ticket for this is fight is still more expensive than the highest ticket for that one.

11,000 of those were $10 tickets.

and 5k of the $10 were sold by resellers over $100, my sister wante to go she lives in SA and 2 weeks before the fight she had to pay $120 for those...
anyways still the other 30k were sold at normal prices and sold out fast, i was lucky the get decent tickets an 20 minutes after they went on sale...
