tickets are an absolute joke i signed on 20-30 times from 12:59 to 1:30, and could never once get a single set of tickets.

brokers bought literally everything for this fight. i have spoken to one person who actually got a set of tickets at sticker price.

i already have my flights and two nights @ mgm booked. i am beyond pissed.

froch and kessler won't have their ringside seats going for 10 grand during the week of the fight.

this is the most sought after ticket on the planet right now.

I bought my tickets for face value; they actually still had tickets yesterday it's just about how you searched for them; only the 1k and 2k prices ever popped up for me but I was going regardless

I thought this is happening in the third world only.

Yeah. It's pretty simple. SInce floyd became the A-side after the ODH fight- when you put floyd in with a no name like guerrero and he does no promotion and he gets you about 900k ppv and almost fills the arena.

Put him in with a cotto or a Canelo and he makes an effort to promote it with a media tour and you get this.

Its really no different than any great athlete. When Lebron or Kobe plays in Charlotte there are empty seats. when they play each other or in NYC-not an empty seat and tickets cost a lil bit more.

how many fights did canelo have in the USA before that? okay then

3 years later and his first PPV is against the so called P4P King, at 22 years old... a superstar attraction, Floyd didnt have his first PPV till he was 28 and De La Hoya made him famous.. Canelo didnt need anybody to make him famous as you can see he gathered 40,000 in a stadium against Trout who has 10 fans

                      The Continuum of the Obtuse

Sometimes I really wonder about the sanity of folks on this site, Canelo is not the draw whatsoever and anyone making this ridiculous contention is a moronic ******. When has Canelo ever been a PPV draw of any kind? Floyd has a well established record of selling very well on PPV, so how does a guy who has zero PPV sales suddenly become the draw and the new cash cow of boxing, seriously? (Was Canelo's guarantee as big as Floyd's, because surely the promoters saw that he was much bigger than Floyd, so naturally he makes more money right?) The network is measuring Canelo's non-PPV numbers, that's pathetic but suddenly because the "frothing at the mouth Mayweather haters" think he has some sort of hope of beating Floyd, now Canelo's the only reason this fight will do well?

There something really wrong with a number of folks posting on this site, not the least of which is an unreasoning hatred for Floyd Mayweather, because only hate or mental problems could lead some posters to write some of this absolute rubbish.
